HOW TO WASH YOUR HANDS PROPERLY
1st March 2020
Hand Hygiene
​
Step 1: Wash your hands with either clean warm or cold water. Turn off tap and apply soap;
​​
Step 2: Lather your hands with the soap, ensuring you rub palm to palm, on the back of your hands, in between your fingers and under your nails;
​​
Step 3: Scrub for at least 20 seconds;
​​
Step 4: Rinse your hands under clean and running water
​​
Step 5: Dry your hands thoroughly with a clean towel or allow them to air dry.
COVID-19 TESTING

Free swab test at our nearest clinic:

You may be eligibility for the test if you have the following symptoms (at time of writing):
​
* fever or chills (without alternative diagnosis to explain fever) or;
*acute respiratory symptoms (cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose or loss of sense of smell)
​
In addition testing is recommended for:
​
* people with new onset of other clinical symptoms consistent with COVID19 (headache, myalgia, stuffy nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea)
AND
​
* those have been in close contact of a confirmed case, have returned from overseas in the past 14 days, or who are healthcare or aged care workers.
